Professional Registration

As a School the policy of the Branch Directors is to recommend both Students and Graduates become Members of the Register of the Shiatsu Society (MRSS)

We would recommend that you join join the Shiatsu Society as a student member when you embark upon your Shiatsu training.

To become registered as a practitioner through the Society, you must gain the school's Shiatsu Diploma, then sit the independent Shiatsu Society practical assessment. To sit the Society's practical assessment a minimum of three years must have elapsed since you commenced formal Shiatsu studies. Hence, to be awarded MRSS, it will only take you three years via the ESS route.  This is a faster route than that offered by other major schools.

Currently, membership of the Shiatsu Society is £160 per annum for registered practitioners exclusive of professional indemnity / malpractice insurance. With the Society's block insurance scheme, you can remain a registered member for around £221 per annum.
