Winter 2011/2012
Stage 2:  18 wednesdays from 11th January 2012, 10.00 to 18.00
Following on from the Foundation Course these 18 days complete the 1st year Shiatsu Bodywork Certificate or form the first year of the Practitioner Diploma. This course will teach you the 12 main channels and major acupressure points and how to apply Shiatsu technique to them as well as Qigong and stretching techniques and an introduction to Chinese Medicinal Theory. There will be an Anatomy and Physiology module for those students who do not hold an exsiting qualification in A&P

WEEKEND OPTIONS
Weekend classes run from 9.30am to 5.30pm

BRENTFORD (LONDON)
Autumn 2011
Stage 1:  Three weekends: 5/6 Nov; 26/27 Nov; 17/18 Dec.
The Foundation course teaches the basic techniques of Shiatsu in the 4 treatment positions equipping students with the skills to give relaxing treatments to friends and family. It also forms the first part of the 1-year Certificate in Shiatsu bodywork.
 
Spring 2012
Stage 2:  8 weekends: 28/29 Jan; 25/26 Feb; 24/25 Mar; 21/22 Apr; 19/20 May; 16/17 Jun; 14/15 Jul; 4/5 Aug.
Following on from the Foundation Course these 8 weekends complete the 1 year Shiatsu Bodywork Certificate or form the first year of the Practitioner Diploma. This course will teach you the 12 main channels and major acupressure points and how to apply Shiatsu technique to them as well as an introduction to Chinese Medicinal Theory. There will be an integrated Anatomy module for those students who do not hold an existing qualification in A&P with an option to include the Physiology module during this year (it can also be included in Year 2).

The second part of the One Year Bodywork Certificate or the first year of the 3 year Shiatsu Diploma course.

Stage 1:  October, November, December 2012 One weekend per month. 9.30 am to 5.30 pm Saturday and Sunday
Gives full shiatsu routines to practise on family and friends for relaxation, de-stressing.  Acupressure points for relieving common ailments.  Introduction to oriental medicine theory: Yin/Yang and 5 elements

SALISBURY
Winter 2011/2012
Stage 1:  3 weekends starting in January 2012 - Stage 1. 14/15 January, 18/19th February, 10/11 March 2012. £350.00
Learn the basic techniques and routines of shiatsu to practise on family and friends. A selection of Acupressure first aid points and an introduction to Yin/Yang and 5 Element theory. The foundation course constitutes the first three weekends of the one year Japanese Bodywork Certificate or the first year of the 3 year Shiatsu Practitioner Diploma.
